Charger Regulators or charger controllers take over the function of restraining the rate at which electric current is added to or drawn from electric batteries. A battery regulator averts overcharging and can protect against over voltage thereby improving the performance and lifespan and simultaneously avoiding risks. They can come as stand-alone charger regulator used in RV, boats, generators or the integrated charger regulator circuitry often used in cell phones, laptop computers and portable audio players, depending on their functions.
